| Careers -> Jobs -> Java Developer at Ft. Gordon We are looking for a Java Developer!!! We are currently looking to fill a Java Development position at Ft. Gordon in Augusta, GA. Our employee will work on-site at Ft. Gordon with the GEOINT customer to develop and sustain the IT mission environment utilizing senior level technical capabilities. This position requires an active Top Secret/SCI Clearance!!! Required skills include: - AJAX/COMET development experience using JavaScript libraries, Basic [D]HTML/CSS experience; ability to create friendly web pages based on existing templates. - 6+yrs Java 6 experience; Java 7 experience preferred. - 6+yrs java enterprise experience, preferably EE/EJB with EE6 experience. - Experience with standards based ORM frameworks, preferably JPA or JDO. - 5+yrs experience implementing and consuming web services (SOAP/REST) using standard frameworks (JAX-WS, JAX-RS). - Experience developing n-tier architectures using Java EE and web services. - Experience with scaling multi-tenant SaaS EE applications within public/private cloud (PaaS, IaaS) environments. - Ability to design/develop highly modular, domain specific enterprise applications for SaaS tenant customization. - Software Configuration and Build management experience, establishing SCM system and policies. - Experience designing, planning, deploying, and troubleshooting ideas in highly-scalable, highly redundant environments. - Database experience (preferably MySQL). - Experience with LINUX administration. - Software Integration and configuration. - Candidate must be articulate and able to communicate both verbally and in writing with customers in an extremely fast pace environment. - Effective communication both written and verbally to interact with co-workers, management, and the customer effectively. Experience working within the Military Intelligence community is highly desired. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field is desired but not required.
