Randall Zapata, Chief Visionary Officer
Randall Zapata, Chief Visionary Officer, is from Chicago. He joined the National Guard when he was 17 and was off to the Army when he was 18 as a military intelligence analyst. He moved on to work with a defense contractor, solving some of the post 9/11 intelligence issues, before founding Zapata Technology in 2007.
Randall has an unparalleled level of expertise in the use and integration of leading edge information technologies and he specializes in enhancing organizational infrastructure operations. He holds numerous technical credentials and certifications and is an active member of the local Augusta, Georgia business community and Vistage. He has led the company in its rapid growth and success, expanding it into new business markets and creating new partnerships.
He is committed to a healthy work-life balance and enjoys time at Disney World with his wife, Megan, and their two sons and also with his extended work family, sponsoring morale boosting trips there with groups of employees through Zapata Experiences.
Christina Hall, Chief Human Resources Officer
An Augusta native, Christina joined the Zapata team in 2013 after seven years of working in the Georgia University System. She graduated with her Bachelor’s in Communications and Public Relations from Augusta State, where she met her best friend and spouse, Richard. They share a daughter who is the leader of their adventures.
As the Chief Human Resources Officer, Christina draws on her education in communications as well as her years of experience in HR to ensure that the culture of the Company is alive and well within the team. She can be found brainstorming ways to help employees grow, working to introduce and streamline policies and procedures, or sharing a good laugh with her team. She strives to be someone that anyone in the Company can come to.
Tim Tierney, Chief Revenue Officer
Tim Tierney is the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) and an Army Veteran with 17 years of experience providing consultative services supporting the federal government, and over 12 years of expertise and experience growing small businesses. As the CRO, he is responsible for all activities that generate revenue within the Zapata mission of “Saving Lives.”
Prior to joining Zapata in 2018, Tim has held leadership roles at multiple small businesses where he was responsible for generating new and organic growth in the DoD, IC, and the Civilian Federal sector to include DHS and DoS.
Tim received a Bachelor of Science degree from George Mason University with a major in Information Systems and Operations Management and a minor in Information Technology. He now lives in Northern Virginia and enjoys spending time with his wife and dogs while not on the water wakeboarding, and wake surfing.
