Summary: 

The All Source Analyst is responsible for preparing realistic but inauthentic example reports around preplanned scenarios built around an artificial intelligence (AI)/machine learning (ML) tool which creates synthetic data to test machine to machine capabilities. As an All-Source Analyst on our team, you will work with model and simulation engineers, developers, and various other staff to create data sources, target queries, combine information from disparate sources and create reports to help the machine learning (ML) technology to understand the taxonomy of the mission and operational landscape.  

 

Essential Functions: 

 

  • Play an intricate role in the development and analysis of potential CI threats, insider threats to create credible scenarios and masked data. 
  • Develop Priority Intelligence Requirements (PIR)/IR analysis of reporting for multiple fictitious elements. 
  • Able to discuss with senior staff a thorough understanding of the intelligence cycle and architecture, to include planning, collection, research, analysis, and production. 
  • Analyze intelligence information to assess developments, trends, and threat implications through comprehensive knowledge of intelligence threat analysis to include forecasting and/or other analytical methodologies. 
  • Research and analyze military, political, economic, technical and other developments within assigned areas to conduct valid threat assessments. 
  • Provide all-source analytic support to collections, operations, investigations, and other defense intelligence analytic requirements. 
  • Conduct research using social networking tools, digital mapping programs, and law enforcement database and research tools, to include Open Source (OSINT) and classified searches. 
  • Identify intelligence gaps and assist in the development of intelligence collection programs. 
  • Plan, coordinate, and synthesize research to prepare all-source intelligence products and responses. 
  • Ensure products match known intelligence requirements. 
  • Develop recommendations regarding the development and maintenance of SOPs for AI modelling development team. 
  • Produce analytical information reports from reviews of Law Enforcement database searches in support of scenario-based development and synthetic data generation. 
  • Meet formatting, classification, and dissemination guidelines when producing written and graphic products. 
  • Support the development and implementation of intelligence research and/or reporting requirements using available IC databases. 

 

Job Qualifications: 

 

Required Qualifications and Skills include: 

  • Specialized experience with appropriate military or civilian tradecraft training in an all-source intelligence analysis field to include planning, collection, research, analysis, and report production. 
  • Minimum of four years all source analytical experience; two or more years should include CI/HUMINT/intelligence analysis experience at the tactical/operational level within DoD or equivalent Government agencies.  
  • Analytic experience should come from service as MOS 35F, 350F, 18F, 35D, 34A, OR USMC – 0205 Master Analyst, 0211 Counterintelligence/Human Intelligence (CI/HUMINT) Specialist, 0231 Intelligence Specialist, 0239 Intelligence Analyst OR U.S. Navy – Navy Intelligence Specialist OR USAF – 14NX Intelligence Officer or 1N1XX Operations Intelligence, 1N771, Human Intelligence Specialist, 1N451A Intelligence Fusion Analyst.
  • Experience using national agency all-source datasets and providing substantive expertise in both written and direct briefing presentations to the customer. 
  • Knowledge of capabilities and limitations of intelligence collection disciplines, to include general technical sensors/platforms and human intelligence sources in area of responsibility. Knowledge of IC collection management cycle, processes, systems, and tools. Knowledge of collection strategies, collection requirements, targeting, assessment, feedback, and source validation/vetting processes.  
  • Possess general information systems experience working with select DoD datasets and intelligence reporting activities. 
  • Outstanding communications and interpersonal skills, able to clearly articulate complex information in briefings and in written reports. Must have strong working knowledge of all Microsoft applications (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access).   

 

Preferred Qualifications and Skills include: 

  • Experience in either CI/HUMINT 
  • Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. 

 

Education/Experience include: 

  • 3+ years of experience if proficiency can be demonstrated in the above requirements with a BA/BS 
  • 10+ years of experience if proficiency can be demonstrated in the above requirements without degree.  

 

Working Conditions: 

Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential. Sedentary, sitting, walking, occasional lifting (overhead waist level from floor), bending, frequent near vision use for reading and computer use, frequently fast paced environment. 

 

Physical Requirements: 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will operate a computer. This position frequently communicates with end-users. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
