Summary: 

Zapata Technology, Inc. seeks a cleared person holding a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph to become an Atlassian System Administrator in Annapolis Junction, MD. 

 

Essential Functions: 

The Atlassian System Administrator/Developer will be responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and daily operation of Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket and Crowd).  

  • Provide IT system support including operation, monitoring and problem solving.  
  • Maintain and manage IT system configuration and infrastructure. 
  • Create complex Jira workflows, project workflows, field configurations, screen schemes, permission schemes and notification schemes. 
  • Create conditions, validators, post functions and make changes to workflows, screens, fields, and reporting, and provide ongoing support and configuration maintenance. 
  • Establish and promote best practices for the usage of Atlassian tools. 

 

Job Qualifications: 

Required Qualifications and Skills include: 

  • Must be able to work with the Atlassian tool set to include JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket and Crowd. 
  • Experience in administering complex Jira Data Center environments hosted in AWS and in building high-quality systems in support of business operations. 
  • Familiarity with Data Center deployment in AWS. 
  • Experience using UNIX and Windows operating system. 
  • Must be able to install operating systems, troubleshoot, configuration and implement system enhancements. 
  • Experience with Tier Help Desk and Tier 2 Escalation problem identification and resolution. 
  • In-depth IT trouble shooting experience is required. 
  • Must have strong overall technical skills, excellent customer service skills, and superior organizational and prioritization management skills. 
  • Must be able to work in a team environment.  

 

Education/Experience include: 

  • Ten (10) years’ experience as a system administrator (SA). 
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline. 
  • Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for bachelor’s degree.

Clearance Type: 

Requires an active Top Secret SCI clearance with a polygraph for consideration. Employment is contingent on having or obtaining the required active security clearance or successfully passing the required background check, as well as other factors, including, but not limited to, drug screens.
