Zapata Technology is seeking a Penetration Tester that will information systems engineering analysis and will provide solutions to ensure compliance with existing and emerging policies. This position will the San Diego, CA area.

Under indirect supervision, perform information systems engineering analysis for testing, assessing, evaluating, integrating, and enforcing requirements of Cybersecurity/IA products and tools to coordinate assessment and acquisition. Responsibilities include the penetration testing, analysis of system architectures, vendor descriptions and technical application guides; interfacing with testing laboratories; prepare test reports; and reviewing solutions to ensure compliance with existing and emerging policies.
Required Qualifications and Skills include:
To be considered for this position, candidate must have one of the following to meet DoD 8140 (Formerly DoD 8570x) requirements:
GIAC Penetration Tester (GPEN)
IACRB Certified Penetration Tester (CPT)
ECC Certified Ethical Hacker (Master) (C|EH [Master])
Within 6 months induvial must be able to achieve one of the below certifications that matches their duties which would be provided by Zapata:
GIAC Exploit Researcher and Advanced Penetration Tester (GXPN)
Certified Expert Penetration Tester (CEPT)
Certified Red Team Operations Professional (CRTOP)
Certified Reverse Engineering Analyst (CREA)
Offensive Security Experienced Penetration Tester (OSEP)
Offensive Security Web Expert (OSWE)
Offensive Security Exploitation Expert (OSEE)
Licensed Penetration Tester (LPT)
Bachelor’s Degree from National Center of Academic Excellence in Cybersecurity (NCAE-C) may be substituted for 4 years of experience or eight (8) total years of relevant experience.

Requires an Active Top Secret Security Clearance
