Zapata Technology is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Automation Engineer for a hybrid role in Monterey, California. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will oversee software development teams, implement automation frameworks, and work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet user and government standards.

Compensation: $65-93K annually depending upon experience.
Job Qualifications:
Qualifications and Skills include:
- Oversee software development teams, ensuring work products are accurate, align with design concepts, and meet user and government standards.
- Monitor progress to maintain schedule adherence.
- Work with the Project Manager and QA Manager to address and resolve issues, ensuring user satisfaction.
- Offer recommendations for the approval of major system installations when required.
- Develop status reports and deliver presentations on system concepts to team members, subordinates, and end users.
- Proficiency in Python programming for test automation and scripting.
- Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, PyTest, or Robot Framework.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Education/Experience includes:
- 4+ years Quality Assurance Automation Engineering experience
- 2+ years of experience with ASP.net or Python programming in a QA automation environment.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and practices.
- Experience with ASP.NET development and testing process.
- Familiarity with scripted ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and tools.
