IAT II Baseline Certification Such as Security+, CCNA-Security, GICSP. An active TS/SCI security clearance is required.
Full Job Description
Essential Functions:

Design a SolarWinds architecture and deployment plan.
-
Design and deploy IT infrastructures and protection
-
Analyze organizational business needs in terms of information technology
-
Evaluate a multitude of factors to determine hardware configurations
-
Analyzes information to determine, recommend, and plan layout for proposed project or workload, efficient operation, and effective use of space
-
Support escalated issues and requests from team members
-
Analyze, design, develop, document, and test of client network operations
-
Perform quality assurance activities to ensure standardization of best practices.
-
Provide technical escalation for other Systems Engineers
-
Automate vulnerability and configuration management
-
Assist in the Configuration Management, Documentation, and Network Administration
-
Integrate COTS products
-
Create network diagrams, topologies, traffic flow, and procedures
-
Assist with the submission of C&A artifacts for Site Accreditation
-
Install, Configure, and Customize Network Monitoring tools (SolarWinds Orion)
-
Update, integrate, and migrate the SolarWinds architecture
-
Interact with clients to receive requests, request clarifications, triage, troubleshoot, and resolve issues.

Develop Compliance Templates and update STIG
-
Develop customized node properties
-
Standardize SNMP trap configuration and alerting
-
Create automated compliance reports
-
Install, configure, and administer SolarWinds Modules on all networks
-
Provide service and monitoring of PM/POR systems on Customer networks.

Integrate mission critical assets into networking monitoring dashboards
-
Develop a Disaster Recovery plan and perform corrective actions to restore SolarWinds if operational failure occurrence/notification.

Requires minimum 10 years of experience performing a combination of systems design, architecture, and engineering SolarWinds implementations.

Experience engineering and designing SolarWinds deployments for a geographically dispersed enterprise.

Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Shell Scripting, and Python.

Team leadership and technical execution

Professional hands-on experience in systems engineering tools

Experience developing detailed models and simulations of electronic circuits or systems for design verification

Experience with analysis, design, or test of superconducting electronics, system architecture study or design

Written and verbal communication skills

Ability to think critically and problem-solve

Advanced skillset in time management and task prioritization
Education/Experience include:

Bachelor’s Degree in a technology related field or 10 years of related experience

Cisco Certified Network Professional or SolarWinds Certified Professional

Working Conditions:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Use of standard office equipment such as scanners and printers, phones, and laptops.
