Certification as a Solar Winds Certified Professional (SCP) or SIEM, Splunk, Elastic Stack (ELK), etc. IAM III Baseline Certification such as CISSP, GSLC, CISM. An active TS/SCI security clearance is required.
Full Job Description
Essential Functions:
-
Aid management in the implementation of security procedures, and documents security and safety policies and guidelines
-
Review logging events to ensure security incidents are detected
-
Research new methods to improve digital security and eliminate vulnerabilities
-
Provide technical support, recommendations, and prioritization strategies in respect to security issues
-
Maintain and review user logs and audit readiness metrics to provide leadership
-
Gather information, artifact submission, and audit response
-
Automate Vulnerability Management and Compliance Management
-
Support integration of COTS products
-
Assist with the submission of C&A artifacts for Site Accreditation.

Develop Compliance Templates utilizing a Network Configuration Manager and Firewall Security Manager.

Update STIG settings in accordance with IAVMs or quarterly at a minimum
-
Support creation of automated compliance reports to capture configuration deviations and overall compliance with applicable guidelines
-
Support administration of SolarWinds Modules on all networks, review incoming traps and syslog, and convert into alerts
-
Create Compliance reports.

Provide service, support and monitoring of PM/POR systems and networks
-
Enable real time monitoring, and create alerts for PM/POR system, service, or capability interruptions

Support development of a Disaster Recovery plan
Job Qualifications:
Required Qualifications and Skills include:

Requires minimum 10 years of experience performing a combination security design, cybersecurity, and SIEM specifically using Solar Winds.

Experience in managing and maintaining SolarWinds in a highly distributed global enterprise
-
Experience in Windows Server 20.xx and Red Hat Enterprise Linux.

Experience in providing documentation to include network diagrams, topology flows, and organizational procedures.

Team leadership and technical execution
-
Professional hands-on experience in systems engineering tools
-
Experience developing detailed models and simulations of electronic circuits or systems for design verification

Experience with analysis, design, or test of superconducting electronics, system architecture study or design

Written and verbal communication skills

Ability to think critically and problem-solve
-
Advanced skillset in time management and task prioritization
Education/Experience include:
-
Bachelor’s Degree in a technology related field or 10 years of related experience

Solar Winds Certified Profession (SCP) certification or any SIEM (Splunk, Elastic Stack (ELK), etc.) certification

IAM III Baseline Certification (CISSP/GSLC/CISM)
Working Conditions:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Use of standard office equipment such as scanners and printers, phones, and laptops.

Clearance Type:
