Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Knowledge of U.S. Army Logistical information system (LIS) specific software and hardware on a functional, technical, and managerial level and in diverse operating environments.
Provide functional and technical support for the following LIS: GCSS-Army, AFMIS, AFMIS POS, AFMIS AHC, TC-AIMS, MC4, SAAS, CSS-VSAT, and CAISI 2.0.
The Field Service Technician must distribute new Army LIS/equipment to SASMO customers new Software Packages, Engineering Change Proposals (ECP) and Incremental Change Packages (ICP) to
Manage and maintain Historical Library of System Software and Change Packages.
Manage and maintain and Issue Logistic Information System (LIS) “Floats”.
Monitor Contract and Maintenance Support (Warranty/Maintenance Repair).
Provide User Level LIS Sustainment Training.
Must be able to restore equipment to operation by replacement of line replaceable unit.
Must troubleshoot automation equipment and systems to the degree required for isolation of malfunctions to specific hardware or software.
Assist in IAVA compliance and patching requirements through the review of weekly ACAS scans provided by local network enterprise centers.
Ability to perform analysis of system operations and have knowledge/experience in the utilization of operating systems and database management systems with working experience in fault detection, isolation, and correction of computer systems.
Must have knowledge of and experience in the operations of hardware systems and components.
Must have experience in fault detection, isolation, and correction of hardware systems and individual peripheral devices.
Must be capable of routine system maintenance and analysis functions including hardware configurations, adding, removing, and replacing hardware components, use of hardware and software diagnostic testing tools, reading of electronic circuit schematics, or as descried in the job description.
Ability to satisfy the standards of fitness for deployment, fulfill the requirement of deployment, and maintain this requirement to the most-demanding regions of the world (standards of fitness include general physical, mental, and dental health standards, medication requirements, and body mass index (BMI) calculations).
Proficient MS Office applications to write reports.
Your ability to travel and accept temporary assignments at other locations (CONUS and/or OCONUS).
5 years of related experience
Current IA Level II Certification to meet DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification.
50% of the time prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Use of standard office equipment such as scanners and printers, phones, and laptops.
50% of the time travel.
Occasionally move and or carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.

Employment is contingent on maintaining the required TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, as well as other factors, including, but not limited to, drug screens.
