System Engineer, Requirements Analysis, Senior (1331)

Zapata Technology is seeking an experienced System Engineer, Requirements Analysis, Senior level, for work at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland 21005. In this role, successful candidates will ensure quality and development of capabilities with the Distributed Common Ground Station-Army (DCGS-A) development team and customer stakeholders.

Compensation: $120-133K annually depending upon experience.

Essential Functions: 

• Interacts with system users to translate their requirements into systems, hardware, and software requirements and design. 
• Participates in the development of test strategies.  
• Solving engineering problems (or managing the solution of engineering problems) in the functional area to which assigned. 

Required Qualifications and Skills include:

Certifications: None required.

Minimum Years of Relevant Experience: 5 years within the last 8 years. 

Education Level & Degree Required: 

• Bachelor’s Degree Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or other Engineering or Technical discipline is required. Substitution for Degree: Relevant experience (minimum 5 years).
