Salary Range 130,000 – 140,000

Summary:

The Information Systems Engineer (ISE) will serve as the overall security point of contact for this contract. This position is a full-time, on-site role located at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), MD. The ISE is responsible for ensuring configuration management, software security compliance, and integration of security best practices across systems operating within a DevSecOps/Agile development environment.

Job Qualifications:

Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant professional experience within the last nine (9) years.
Experience writing Configuration Management (CM) Plans and auditing software change procedures, including software development, testing, and documentation to verify compliance with CM plans and procedures.
Experience participating in design reviews, configuration audits, and evaluations of software products to ensure proper identification, control, and status accounting of software baselines.
Hands-on experience with configuration management and collaboration tools such as JIRA, Puppet, Confluence, GitHub, and related scripting technologies.
Experience implementing and managing Configuration Management processes within a DevSecOps and Agile development environment.
Qualified as an IA System Architect and Engineer (IASAE) Specialty in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M and Army Information Assurance (IA) Training and Certification Best Business Practice.

Education/Experience include:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or another Engineering or Technical discipline with an Information Security or Cyber Security concentration.
Relevant experience may be substituted for the degree requirement provided the candidate has both:
Demonstrated applicable experience, and
Full Information Assurance (IA) certification in accordance with AR 25-2, Information Assurance, and the associated IA Training Best Business Practice (IA Training BBP).

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Clearance Type:

Requires a current TS/SCI. Employment is contingent on having or obtaining the required active security clearance or successfully passing the required background check, as well as other factors, including, but not limited to, drug screens.
